Players can enjoy both weekends of the beta with or without crossplay, depending on their preference.

Here’s how to play the Battlefield 6 beta, plus details about both weekends and the early access.

There are two open beta weekends that everyone can participate in that start on Saturday, Aug. 9 and Thursday, Aug. 14. Currently, you can preload the beta on your preferred platform.

However, there are ways to take part in an early access beta on Thursday, Aug. 7. You can access the beta early if you’ve already met a few requirements before July 31, including signing up for Battlefield Labs or watching specific Twitch streamers. If you’ve missed out on that, there’s a few other ways to get early access keys:

• Watch an eligible Twitch streamer play Battlefield 6 for 30 minutes once the early access period starts. Make sure that the Twitch streamer has drops on, or else you won’t receive a beta code. You can redeem your codes via the Battlefield 6 website.
• Join the Battlefield Discord and get a key from the code drop room.
• Subscribe to EA Play Pro.

Preordering Battlefield 6 does not grant early access to the beta.

The first Battlefield 6 beta weekend launches on Saturday, August 9 with three distinct combat environments and five core game modes. This initial phase focuses on testing core mechanics and server stability while introducing players to the new NATO faction dynamics.

Weekend two begins Thursday, August 14 and expands the available content significantly.
